When Elton John Made David Furnish feel like Julia Roberts

London: Elton John’s partner David Furnish has revealed that a shopping spree with the singer made him feel “like Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman.” The 47-year-old filmmaker met John at a dinner party in 1993, and not long after they began dating. The singer took Furnish for a romantic weekend in Paris, France, which he says reminded him of Roberts` hit 1990 movie. “The first weekend together, we went to Paris and I was totally overwhelmed,” the Daily Star quoted Furnish as telling Closer magazine. “He took me to the Versace boutique. I felt like Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman. I remember standing in the changing room and there were assistants running around me with shirts, jackets, coats and blazers.

“I always collected fashion within my own means, but there is the Elton level, which is totally different,” he added.
