SINGAPORE NEWS: Doctors’ orders have forced “genuinely ill” British singer Tom Jones to cancel concerts in South Korea and Singapore, where he was supposed to perform this week, the concert organiser and his website said. Last Friday, Jones began a concert at Singapore’s newly opened $4.4 billion Resorts World Sentosa casino and entertainment complex but left the stage after two songs. He then rescheduled the performance to Thursday to give him time to recover from “acute laryngitis”, said his website

The Danish singers opened for Gaga during her concerts in the UK and Ireland this year, but they say the Poker Face singer took so much time rehearsing her own act that they never had time to soundcheck before each gig.
