Panaji: Taiwanese director Leon Dai, who won the Golden Peacock award at the 40th edition of the International Film Festival of India (IFFI), said he was in India to complete his father`s karma. After receiving the top award for his film “I Can`t Live Without You”, an emotional Dai, speaking in Taiwanese, said that several decades ago his father had left China and had settled in then Calcutta for over 12 years, before finally moving to Taiwan.
