Ranbir Kapoor Escapes To Avoid Meeting ex-Love Deepika

New Delhi: It was an awkward moment for ex-lovers Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor to be at the same place (in Delhi) at the same time. Dips landed in the capital last week for the shooting of ‘Break Ke Baad’ and a few days later Ranbir checked in the same hotel, ignorant of the fact that his ex is already staying put in the same hotel. But the moment he came to know about Deepika and he sharing the same hotel, wasted no time to check out of the hotel. Well, this could have easily gone as a classic tale of lovers at the crossroads, only that there is a small twist. They are no more lovers now and are classified as ex and the situation they got stuck in recently made all wonder if destiny’s got any hand in the story that you are going to read, or was it sheer coincidence!

Story goes that the day Ranbir checked in, Dips was out on location all-day and returned to the hotel only late at night. It was only after being in Delhi for a day that the Kapoor lad learned that his ex-gal and he were sharing the same hotel. No one is sure if that is the reason he checked out the following day and shifted into his sister Riddhima`s newly done up apartment.

A source close to the actor confirms, “He wanted to spend time with his sister and thought it was better to stay at her place. Since he`s been out of the country for over two months, it was a good time to catch up with Riddhima. He didn`t check out of the hotel because Deepika was staying there.”

Though one can’t help but wonder, if RK really wanted to spend family time with sis or was it just an excuse to control the ire of his new lady Katrina!
