Peshawar Blast Near Session Court, 4 Killed, Serveral Injured

PESHAWAR: A blast on Jail Road Peshawar near Session Court has claimed 4 lives, while several people have been injured, reported our sources. The injured are being shifted to Lady Reading Hospital.

According to our correspondent, the blast occurred when the explosive material placed in a rickshaw at the parking of Sessions Court blew up. The blast of the sound was so deafening that it could be heard till far. A number of cars caught fire as a result of the blast.

Police and law enforcing agencies have surrounded the area after the blast. Relief activities have begun, and the injured are being shifted to Lady Reading Hospital. A lot of injured are told to be in critical condition, and increase in death toll is expected.
