Now, Katrina Kaif To Clean Up Slums in Mumbai

Mumbai: Quite sometime after Bollywood actress Preity Zinta encouraged the people of Mumbai to keep the city litter-free, it’s Katrina Kaif who has joined hands with Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (MCGM) to launch a cleanliness campaign in the city. MCGM and NGO – `United Way of Mumbai` are together working for the clean up campaign which will take place in the slums. As of now, Nehru Nagar, a slum community in suburban Vile Parle, has been adopted as a part of the cleanliness drive. “Over 150 volunteers representing college students, corporate employees, NGOs, municipal officials and others will gather for the launch of the year long project by way of Clean up drive in Nehru Nagar,” an official said.

Gathering litter would surely become a glamorous time pass after this!
