There is no danger of teams flying in late to games and the league won’t be moving kickoff times to avoid weather. However, there are still some trouble spots.

Seattle at Green Bay: It’s going to be somewhere between 24 and 28 degrees at kickoff and there is a 60% chance of snow flurries in Green Bay this afternoon. This is how football is supposed to be in December at Lambeau Field.

Oakland at Cleveland: The same weather system that is threatening Green Bay is also going to dump either rain or snow on Cleveland this afternoon. The temperatures are supposed to be in the lower-30’s and there is a 60% chance of snow showers or freezing rain today — it all depends on the temperature.

Kansas City at Cincinnati: It’s going to be a little warmer in the southwest corner of Ohio on Sunday. Temperatures are supposed to be in the mid-30’s at kickoff and there is a 30% chance of rain.

Jacksonville at New England: The Jaguars play in north Florida, so they aren’t spoiled with 75 degree weather during the winter. But a trip to New England in late December still wasn’t something to look forward to. Fortunately the temperatures are supposed to be in the mid-40’s, mild for this time of year. Unfortunately, there is a 60% chance of rain early on in this game — which could force teams to more of a ground-game until the weather clears.
