Today (January 5), vocalist Michael McDonald will perform the National Anthem at the 2010 Fiesta Bowl at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, AZ. The game will air on the FOX network at 8 p.m. ET, 5 p.m. PT. Since 1998 the Fiesta Bowl has been part of the Bowl Championship Series. The 2010 Fiesta Bowl pits No. 4 TCU against No. 6 Boise State. It has the distinction of being the first BCS game featured unbeaten teams who are not competing for the national championship. No. 1 ranked Alabama will play No. 2 Texas in the BCS National Championship Game on Thursday (January 7) at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena. In February and March, McDonald will be touring Australia and New Zealand with co-headliner Boz Scaggs. He also has solo shows in Hawaii on March 11 and March 12.
