Jake The Bachelor

The next edition of The Bachelor stars Jake Pavelka, who has taped the season and promises it’ll be as wacky as ever. “I can tell you from the get-go, it is a very rocky and dramatic season,” Jake said in a press call from Atlanta just moments ago.  “Some of the things that happened on the show, drama-wise, floored me.”  But did he find love? “I don’t want to ruin the ending,” he says. But adds, “I stayed true to myself from the very beginning. I went in and said very honestly, if I find love I’ll come out engaged. I didn’t promise a ring at the end of this and stayed true to myself. I didn’t necessarily do what everybody wanted me to.”

Pavelka, 31, who describes himself as “adventurous … a little unpredictable and tenacious,”  figured that after the first rose ceremony he would know his final four. He was so sure he’d be able to quickly zero in on someone. But it didn’t work out that way. “Half way through the entire journey, I still had no idea whatsoever. It was cast so well for my temperament. I had a lot of romance. My heart went out to multiple women.”

He also says yes, we can expect plenty of hot tub action, but says, “I don’t feel like I have anything to apologize for.” He also added, “I don’t have a girlfriend, I’m not married and don’t have 8 mistresses – pardon me, Tiger Woods. Stuff like cheating and shady activity? … Everyone has skeletons in their closet, but if I could think of anything that I thought would shock everybody, I would get it out there right now and ‘fess up, but I can’t think of anything to say.”
