Trisha Krishnan was born May 4, 1983 in Pallakad, Kerala, India. She speaks English, Hindi, Tamil and French. She studied at Church Park, India and Ethiraj College, India. She is an only child and lives with her parents and grandmother. It was introduced in the film industry through director Emir Sultan Mounam Pesiyadhey where she acted opposite Surya. After that, she acted in the draft law Priyadarshan Tamil Lays Lays. She was crowned Miss Chennai in 2000 and won Miss Salem in the year 1999 and won Miss India Beautiful Smile in 2001. Among his hobbies are music, reading and swimming.

Film Career:

Trisha Krishnan first made her debut in films when she was offered a small cameo in the film Jodi. However, the first film in which she moved to adopt the role of leading lady was Priyadarshan Leysa Leysa. A series of flops marked the beginning of her career, as Manasellam and Alai. However, it is well suited to her role opposite Surya in Mounam Pesiyadhe and received rave reviews. She then played Vikram’s lady love in the mega blockbuster Saamy. The next huge film she took part in followed immediately afterwards, was Ghilli with Vijay, who was a remake of Telugu blockbuster Okkadu.

In 2004, she starred in Varsham in Telugu, which became the biggest hit of the year and turned her into an overnight sensation. In 2005 she starred alongside Siddharth Narayan in the film Telugu Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana the village girl Siri. The film is a rich boy, who seeks to marry a girl – but her brother opposes it. It is directed by Prabhu Deva, was successful at the box office, and Krishnan won two awards for the film which include the Filmfare Award and Nandi Award.

She appeared in Mani Ratnam Aayutha Ezhuthu which was remade into a blockbuster Hindi Yuva. The Tamil version included Siddharth Narayan, Madhavan and Surya. His latest film, Ji, Aathi and Aaru not good – but Aaru was received well by critics and both dubbed in Tamil and Telegu and produced by Saran, who had already completed several successful 2006 movies.Her Telugu movie, Pournami, directed by Prabhu Deva, was a flop. However, another 2006 movie, Something Something … Unnakum Ennakum, where Krishnan acted opposite Jayam Ravi, did well at the box office. Something Something … Unnakum Ennakum is a remake of Telugu Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana where she plays the same role.

Her Telugu film Sainikudu with Mahesh Babu was released November 30, 2006. Expectations were high in commercial circles of this film especially after the crash hit Pokiri but this high budget film started with the comments below average. Despite receiving bad reviews of trade, the film has managed to get a decent opening in India and abroad.

Her next release after Sainikudu was Aadavari Matalaku Ardhalu Verula where she was cast opposite Venkatesh. This film was the first film in Telugu Selvaraghavan. The film opened April 27, 2007. The film is an artist of the family and received a good response from the public especially families. The box office collections exceeded the later versions, as AATA and Munna. Krishnan performance is a highlight of the film.

In Kireedam with Ajith, Krishnan has tried comedy and won critical acclaim. Kireedom opened with high expectations and received good reviews from media and the public. Her 2008 films, Bheema and Kuruvi not succeed in box office, while Krishna with Ravi Teja, opened to rave reviews. Prabhas His other films featuring Bujjigadu, directed by Puri Jagannadh has been released during the summer and has made a decent race.
