Andrew Koenig Growing Pains Photos

Andrew Koenig “Growing Pains” pictures, children became a comedy actor, director and activist, Andrew Koenig, who shot to fame as a teenager playing Richard “Boner” Stabone in the 1980 series Growing Pains TV, is reported to be dead. The sad news comes from the Canadian city of Vancouver that the body of the actor who disappeared last week, has been found in Stanley Park, Vancouver.

Police has informed the body of the deceased actor has been found in a densely wooded portion of the park and that “…they have no reason to believe that foul play was involved at all.”

The actor was last seen in public on 14th of this month. The last activity recorded on his phone was on 16th Feb when he supposedly called his bank from Vancouver’s Stanley Park area.

Parents of the actor, Walter Koenig, who portrayed Pavel Chekov in the original Star Wars movie, and Judy Koenig have informed the press that they believe their son to have committed suicide. They say that the actor was suffering from depression lately and in the last letter they got from Andrew he sounded “despondent.”

Walter earlier said to Vancouver Sun, “I only want to say he’s a really good person, a great humanitarian. Everyone who knew him was very fond of him. He was not in a good frame of mind when he called us. He was depressed.”

Recently he was editing movies with his friend, writer/producer Lance Miccio and worked as video producer on the podcast Not Never Funny.
